She and Benjamin had a child in Sugarceek, OH on Nov 13, 1898 named Clarence F Harman. Clarence married Ada M Pershing on Oct 13, 1921. Ada was born April 28, 1903 in Tuscarawas County.

Elizabeth Abt 1797 Jones/Craven cty North Carolina "Jones cty, North Carolina" "Granade family appears on 1790 census of Jones cty, N.C. Within a few years Elizabeth was made the ward of Enos and Asenath Harrell, also on 1790 census. Family moved to Smith county Tenn. before 1820...and several Granades show up in census' there from that time. Family then moved to Lauderdale cty. Alabama, where Elizabeth married the oldest Harrell boy, Asa. Asa and Elizabeth then settled in Fayette cty., Texas, in 1854 and lived out the rest of their lives there." Her husband, Thos. Mercer is buried in Norwich OH. I can find no records of her birth or family. I also do not know where she is buried. Thomas' grave stone was replaced several years ago by some veterans org. as he was a vet of the Civil War. The replacement was put on top of his old marker, though. Teressa Lipe Arkansas "Teressa was a prostitute in Mena Arkansas and was sentenced to 5 years in Prison for murder in the 2nd Degree. She was pardoned January 16, 1901, by the Governor, with the understanding that she was to leave Arkansas and never to return. I am told that she went to Oklahoma. It is known from a Will that she was living in Lehigh, Kansas (Marion County) in April of 1924. The Marion county clerks cemetery database can not find her. she immigrated into Lehigh with her family and they made the Okla run, she remained in Kansas.
