I know that she died about 1950 by suicide according to my dad. They had three children, my grandmother and two boys. My grandmother married Loren Burrows and moved to Oklahoma City in the 50's(??)from Oswego, Kansas. My ggrandfather, William, is buried in Springfield National Cemetery. Sarah Greene abt 1832 Georgia ? Benjamin D Abney abt 1855 Georgia & Alabama Was in Cobb Co. Georgia census in 1850 Sarah moved to Marshall County Alabama with her husband and children about 1858. She probably died in 1860.

"Edmonson County, Kentucky" "In the 1880 Edmonson County Kentucky census it shows Margaret J, with children Gideon 4, Sarah A 3 and Mary A 1 all living with Richard. I believe this Sarah A may be my grandmother. My grandmother's mother supposedly died when my gmother was very young and she and her siblings went to TX to live with a grandmother, which probably was Margaret's mother. She married Richard Bragg Herrington and they resided in Sylvani, GA. They had 13 chidlren, one being my grandmother Elizabeth. The family changed the spelling from Bevandusky to Bevan because noone could pronounce it.

ANNE STONE b. 1787 married John Hindsley on March 7 1807 in Bertie Co. NC. In 1823 they moved to Tenn with children, then to Ohio in 1827 where they stayed in Darke Co. Ohio. Children are Elizabeth, James, Mary, William, Joseph, Stephen, Perry. I am needing any info on the Hindsley’s and especially on ANNE STONE. We have no info on her family, parents, siblings. I am assuming that since they were married in Bertie Co. that this is where Anne was from. There has been family lore that she is part Native American and that they were running from Andrew Jackson.
