There is conflicting information I have saying John was her youngest. And that she died when he was 6 weeks old. The two other girls are listed as her daughter. Alexander Sr. married after Elizabeth died. Wife's name unknown, and the two daughters and one son names are unknown. Peter and Barbara had 3 children, that I am aware of, Peter, Susan and Mary. In 1850 the Asfelds were living in Butler County, Pennsylvania with Barbara's two older daughters. By 1860 the family had moved to Carver County, Minnesota living near Benton (which is now Cologne). Have hit a block with the Asfeld and Berberich/Greulich research.
