First born was James in about 1795, then William in 1797, Robert, Thomas, Mark, Alexander 1809, John, Sarah Ann, Mary Ann. Elizabeth died when John was 6 weeks old. There is conflicting information I have saying John was her youngest. And that she died when he was 6 weeks old. The two other girls are listed as her daughter. Alexander Sr. married after Elizabeth died. Wife's name unknown, and the two daughters and one son names are unknown. Barbara 1810 (?) "Baden, Germany" Peter Asfeld Approx 1840 "Pennsylvania, Minnesota" "Barbara Asfeld maiden name probably Greulich, could have been married to a Berberich, first name unknown. From the first marriage, two children are known, Francis (Married Jacob Weiland)and Caroline (Married George Bleichner), both female. Peter and Barbara had 3 children, that I am aware of, Peter, Susan and Mary. In 1850 the Asfelds were living in Butler County, Pennsylvania with Barbara's two older daughters. By 1860 the family had moved to Carver County, Minnesota living near Benton (which is now Cologne). Have hit a block with the Asfeld and Berberich/Greulich research. Looking for information on Barbara's first husband, how and when he died. Also looking for information on the marriage of Peter and Barbara.

He had bought 80 acres in Reynolds Co.Missouri in 1857, but I cannot find them in any 1860 census! I also don't know when & where she died & is buried. They were my gg-grandparents.
