Edna Yearout or Stinnett March 5, 1848 Blount Co., Tennessee Stinnett 1884 Tennessee First_Known_Census: 1860 (12 yrs. old).
Children: Calvin Yearout, Lemuel Yearout (b. 1865), William Yearout, Mary Alice Yearout (b. 1880), Emeline Harriet Stinnet (b. 1884), LilyStinnett (b. 1887), Robert F. Stinnett (b. 1890).
Edna has been traced in the 1860 Blount Co. census as living with John and Martha Raulston Yearout as a 12-year-old. John was 65, Martha 62, probably grandparents. Found in 1870, 1880 and 1900 census living in Blount Co. In early 1900's Edna changed residence to Knoxville and listed in several instances in City Directory; once listed as widow of James Stinet; next as widow of William Stinnett. Edna died in Knoxville, Tn. Jan. 1924, State Hospital, buried on hospital ground in unmarked site; med. records list residence as Sevierville. The last 4 of her children have been traced very well; the first 3 are yet to be found. None of her medical records indicate parents. Would like to learn names of parents and info on any of the 3 missing older sons. Her name might have been Catherine E. .

She was the first wife of Alexander (A.S.) Brownlow. Their first child was born in 1841 and their last child was born in 1847all in Washington Co., Tn. I assume she died soon after the last child was born since he married Nancy Walters in August of 1847. He doesn't show up on any census lists in Tn prior to 1850. .

Other_Info Annie Lampkins Biddle Paschal ( b. abt. 1865 d. abt. 1935) is listed on the 1900 Grainger Co., TN Census .She is married to her second husband, Leroy Paschel and has an infant dau. by him (Rosa) Her children by Fletcher Biddle are also listed with them, Samuel, Joseph, Frank, Fred & Etta. Fletcher Biddle probably died abt. 1888-1889. Her father was known as "Brownie" Lampkins. She is buried in the Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Grainger Co.,

We have no other census information available here at this time... Marshall and Ella were married over 50 years...She died before he did, and he died sometime in the middle 1920's. They lived in Rutherford County, Tennessee....we think he died in Nashville. .

Nancy SANDERS don't know...maybe about 1820 unknown Matthew Wilson BOWLING November 19, 1863 Tennessee First_Known_Census: 1870.... only one we have available.
Children: Marshall, Matthew, Sarah, Josephine and at least one other, name unknown.
We have been told that Nancy was left for dead on the Trail of Tears, and taken in by Matthew's father's family, helped raise the children, and later married Matthew after his first wife, Susan Yardley, died. We would appreciate any information that anyone could give us. Thanks so much. .

Esther Priestley (Pressley, Prestley) 1811 unknown Samuel Madison Corley 1829 Tennessee Children: Adelbert Priestley, Celia Isabella, John Austin, Louisa.
We have a marriage bond between Samuel and Esther. A Hallam Priestley signed as bondsman. Children were all born in TN. Around 1840, Sam and Esther moved to Red River Co., TX where we believe she died about 1842-44. Sam was a Cumberland Presbyterian minister and we believe Esther had ties to James Priestley that was President of Cumberland College in Lebanon, Wilson Co., TN possibly a granddaughter. Any information appreciated as we have nothing definite on her. .

Majors, Mariah 1840 Grainger county, TN John Daniel Mallicoat / Malicoat 12/1860 but son born 8/1860 Tennessee First_Known_Census: 1850 Granger county with her mother Phebe Majors, kids James, Daniel, Polly, Rachel, Hanna.
Children: John Everett, William Beauregard, David...and believed Mary L. and Sarah Mariah died 1874.
1850, Grainger lived with mother and other children 1860, Grainger lived with both mother and father Thomas and Phebe Majors and some of the other children.
1870 lived in Grainger with husband John D. (Daniel) Mallicoat 1880 she is not listed as it is said she died around 1874.
Would like to find out what happened with the other Major children and any who is related to Mariah's children. I know that John Everett, William and David moved to MO.. but have never heard more about the last two girls... they did show up in 1880 with John Daniel and a second wife named Margaret (no not Mariah) this Margaret was 11 yrs younger than Mariah would have been. John married in 1889 Rachel Coffman..... she was a widow but also the youngest sister of Mariah Majors Mallicoat.... they had no children she may have brought a child with her from her marriage with Coffman.... I think because a child (young adult is listed with them).

Unknown , but could be Anna Jeffreys 1800-1810 unknown but could be Tennessee Unknown Crow but could be Russell 1825 Tennessee Children: John W., William, Andrew Jackson Crow.
We don't have much information on the parents of these Crow's. What we do know is that William was born in 1829, John in 1833 and Andrew in Jan 1837. There is suppose to be at least two other siblings older than Andrew but names are unknown to us. She is suppose to have died either at or shortly after Andrew's birth in Jan 1837. We have been researching all of the Crows in Jefferson County , Tennessee at that time and think perhaps it could be Anna Jeffreys and Russell Crow as the parents since Russell had remarried again in Aug of 1837. Need proof and would like to know death date of Anna

Sarah Jane married in Alabama. In 1846 she and her family moved to MS where they lived for a year. They then moved to LA and in 1855 settled in Donahoe Co., TX. They finally settled on 1600 acres on Donahoe Creek in Williamson Co., TX. Here the family remained. I can find information on the men in the family, but I can nothing on Sarah Jane McNeil and her family. Who were her parents and where was she born? .

I have requested death records and they do not show anything. .

Benjamin operated a corn cracker. Known for his corn whiskey. Two son and four daughters .

GERTRUDE (Newton) 1885-1891 Virginia Unknown Gertrude was my Great grandmothers sister. Gertrude was kidnapped at an early age and was never found. Gertrudes parents were John Redman Newton and Sarah Snellings. John remarried to Susan Taylor. Gertrude was born between 1885 and 1891. Siblings were Maggie Virginia born 1885 and Lillian Irene born 1891 Lillian went out west several time following leads, but never found her sister. Gertrude might not even know her real maiden name. .

Elizabeth Moore died in 1827 in or near Springdale, Claiborne, TN. Her husband, John Mason, served in the war of 1812, was a farmer and extensive land owner. They lived in the neighborhood of Little Sycamore Church. Elizabeth may have been buried in the family cemetery located on the Mason property which was close to the town of Tazewell in Claiborne County, TN. Following Elizabeth's death, John Mason married Rhoda McVey. .
