Bridgit Dugan 1877 Ireland James Burke 1896 Ireland 1900, Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. Children: john, mary dorothy, james, anna ,lillie, eugene, walter, thomas, eunice, frank. searching for any info on Bridgit Dugan/Doohan, acc. to death cert, her parents were John Dugan and Bridgit Doohan! unknown what this means! I first see my Bridgit Doohan, in the 1900 census, Luzerne County, Pa. m. to James Burke, she had 2 natural children by this time, and 1 adopted female child, who was known as Mary D., adopted somewhere in New York, circa 1897, she was supposedly a few years old at the time, she was with the family all her life, and her birth date is, unknown if it is the original birthdate, was December 15, 1897. any help appreciated as i can not locate any info on my Bridgit Doohan, have been searching for many years. thanks . .  donna burke donbur270@cs.com 

Jane GUNN Abt. 1836 Ireland Roger CHAMBERS Abt. 1858 Ireland and Massachusetts Children: Roger, James, Ann. She came to Boston, MA on May 30, 1881. Her husband died in 1882. I can't find her in the 1900 MA census by herself, or with either of her sons. No death record was found in MA before 1906. .  tmccabe@cfw.com 

Ann CHAMBERS 22 Oct 1865 Sligo, Sligo, Ireland Came to Boston, MA on May 30, 1881 with her parents Roger & Jane Gunn Chambers, and her brother, James. Her father died in 1882. She does not appear in the 1900 census with her brothers James or Roge tmccabe@cfw.com

His parents were Elijah and Jerusha Booth Elkins. I would like to know who Lorena Elizabeth Priest parents were. Also any information on her and her family. Elizabeth Ellen (CADE) GODFREY HARLOW 1833 Marion Co., Iowa John W. HARLOW(2nd marriage) John William GODFREY(1st marriage) 1859(1st) 1873(2nd) Children: John Nathan Godfrey, Mary Ann"Molly" Godfrey, Robert Godfrey, Edward Huston Godfrey. John W.Harlow had children also. I don't have any copies of census information. She and John W. HARLOW were to have married in 1873; both were widowed with children. Her husband, John William GODFREY, had shot and killed from ambush in 1872 Iowa. A source of information told me that nothing much had been heard about Ellen and John W. HARLOW after they were married except that they were supposed to be heading to OK. Perhaps they never went there but stopped elsewhere. Ellen would be a g-g-grandmother of mine on my Dad's paternal side. Any help from those related to HARLOW and Ellen CADE GODFREY HARLOW would be greatly appreciated. .  Janet Weeks JCW222@aol.com

Darfney Unknown Unknown Jacob Green Children: John Green. Jacob and Darfney Green are listed as the parents of John Green in the Death Register of Gloucester County Va. This is the only place I've seen their names. John was born in 1820 and died 1890 in Gloucester. His wife was Maria Booker. I can't find anything on her either. Marriage record shows her as Kate Geltz. A birth record for one child shows her name as Gils. Went by the name of Kate. Born in Ohio, county unknown. Looking for info on parents and siblings. Both parents born in Germany. I know info on her married life, but can find nothing of her before. Lizzie (Hamilton) Smith ? ca. 1900 Tennessee 1st. husband was Reese B. Smith untill ca. 1925 1st marriage was ca. 8 or 9 Yrs. Georgia. & ????? First_Known_Census: 1920 in GA.. Children: 1st son was Lee, but there was 1 or 2 born after 1920 .. all 3 died between 1922 & 1925 from diphtheria.. Lizzie left her 1st husband ca. 1925 in Villa Rica,GA. and "believed" to have went to Alabama. She had no birth family to go to, so it is unknown where she could have went. Her birth name was Hammond.. but when she married Reese she married by the last name Hamilton. Lizzie is my father's oldest sister they along with 2 other sibling's were placed in a orphanage in Atlanta in 1914. I'm sure that Lizzie remarried, but to who and where ? Her 1st name was Bettie, but she went only by Lizzie. Her husband remarried between 1926 -1929 to a lady named Ida May ?. Lizzie's children were buried in Carroll Co. Ga. at Macedonia Cemetery. Charity ? Garner abt 1750 Probably Virginia Jacob Garner 1769 Virginia and Georgia First_Known_Census: 1830 Washington County GA. Children: Patience, Charity, Henry, Moses, Stephen, Darius, Baldwin. Jacob and Charity supposedly married in Virginia. Patience was born in NC and the other children in SC. They moved to Washington County, GA about 1795. Sarah Herrington Smith 1853 Burke County, Georgia (Waynesboro) Charlie Smith 1915 Georgia First_Census: 1870. Children: Martha, Cassie, Trudy. Sarah was born a slave in Burke County, Georgia. She was owned by the family of William Herrington. She and 16 of her siblings lived on this plantation. After slavery, she and her siblings took the name Herrington. The lived in Waynesboro, Ga., Sardis, Ga. and Millhaven. Sarah had a daughter by the name of Martha who was believed to be the product of a slave master relationship. Martha Chance was her name. Though because many family members were ashamed of Martha's ancestory they listed her as a Herrington. Sarah married well after Martha was grown. She married a man by the name of Charlie "Sim" Smith. I found her Marriage record in the Burke, Co. courthouse in the year 1915. She is believed to have died in 1928. Probably in Burke, Co. or Screven, County. She worked as a maid all of her life. Married Peter Clark (widower, age between 60 and 65) in 1882.. 1890 Census as Mariah Clark, born 1850. Husband Peter Clark, born 1820. Noted as mother of 14 children with 12 living. Texie Knowles 1886 Gregg Co. Texas John Thomas Barker,Sr. 1904 Georgia First_Census: 1910. Children: Lucile Barker, Elizabeth(Betty) Barker, Annie Mae Barker, John Thoms Barker,Jr.. She was in the 1910,1920 Census for Fulton Co. Ga. She married John Thomas Barker,Sr. in 1904.They were living in the home of his mother in 1910, according to the census. Nothing is known of her family except that both parents were born in Ga.They were in Gregg Co. Texas in 1886 when she was born.She had a half brother by the last name of Murcer.She died of cancer on Oct. 10, 1932 in Atlanta, Fulton Co. Jane Beavers c. 1750 unknown William Headen (some spell it Hayden, Haden, Hadden) c. 1775 Georgia Children: John, William, George, Eli, Jesse & 6 unknown daughters who married Robertson, Shed, Turner, Braziel. Know absolutely nothing about Jane's family. Her husband, William Headen, was born c. 1740 Marion County GA; died c. 1808 Jackson County GA. My line, John Headen m Elizabeth Littlejohn eventually moved to Spartanburg Co., SC....family migrated to Rutherford Co., NC over time. Anyone out there heard of Jane Beavers? Annie Ledgerwood 178? Botetourt or Montgomery Co, Va. Isaac Epling 1803 Virginia First_Known_Census: 1850. Children: Paul, Henley, Allen, Isaac, Elizabeth, Margaret, Nancy, William, Philip. Died in 1854 so the 1850 was the only one she was named in. Only clue to who her parents might have been was a mention in Botetourt Co., Va. court records, 1784, that said, "John Ledgerwood for keeping Lucy Kerr unlawfully and having a child by her." That's all it said. In 1801 Lucy Kerr became the second wife of Isaac Epling's father in Montgomery Co. and sometime between then and about 1803 Isaac Epling married Annie Ledgerwood. John and Lucy's illegitimate child? No proof has yet been found. Sure need some help. .  Richard Epling repling@2xtreme.net
